Three additions to the South Mecklenburg field. A new scoreboard....astroturf with the SM logo surrounding HP...and a brand new cafe (concession stand)

Coach Bagwell has filled in the foul lines with grass....I saw the field yesterday and it is beautiful.

I have never seen the Manteo field, can someone tell me what it looks like?

    rich park

in my opinion the field that Davie County High School and Mocksville American Legion plays on is on of the nicest facilities in the state.

if you haven't seen West Henerson's facilities lately you must. Just added 4 cages, concrete and astroturfed and lit. Also a perch big enough to seat about 15 beyond centerfield to video as well as barbq, lol. Sunken dugouts with individual player cubbies, and grass as good as anywhere in the mountains. An atmoshpere for baseball 2nd to none. There is not a college facility west of Charlotte (including UNCC) as good. Believe me, my daughter attends there, I know what they have.

Mudcat is right....West Henderson's complex is the nicest in WNC by far. Great facitlities, great atmosphere and fan friendly. It's a super place to watch a ballgame.
