unless the Cardinals aren't playing next year then you always need to have them in your mix. If the Lady Blues have everybody coming back then they are always contenders as well. I saw some quality teams out there this past summer and all of those you mentioned are in that group. Be fun to watch each team develop over the winter and into next summer. Oh, can't forget the crushers. Since there are so many of them named the crushers I am not sure which one that Morgan Childers went too.

Look out if this is true- My neighbors daughter plays for the Cardinals and apparently the Cardinals and several from the Pitt Co. team are coming together for 2006 and beyond. Her Mom said they played in Washington, DC a few weeks ago and beat 2 Japanese teams.

The Blues will be right up there with the Cardinals, but each year things become more competitive, so who knows?

    Cardinal/Rocket

The merger of these two teams????? Seen both play,, two completely different styles of players and Coaches,Who would be the Coach? Chandler or Rogers. Will the Rockets players be able to play the quiet game and show your stuff on the field, will the parents be able to sit back and not be shouting and cheering their team on instead keep a low profile as I have seen the Cardinal teams do.Just a thought, But the merger of these two teams would create a very good team out of the gate.Does anyone know for sure if they are and who is not returning to each team ,because if you have 20 players what a nightmare that would be.

EnkaJet04, That would be the Crushers Red. You are Right! This Team is going to be exciting to get to be a part of. If they continue to work hard, there is no telling how good they can be. I think they will look forward to playing the Big Dogs!

Don't really know if this merger will work out well. Heard through the grapevine that when they were in DC, the weekend didn't start out too well. A tour bus was arranged for the girls and their families on the first night. The tour would have been great if the Pitt County girls had any manners. Heard from the Cardinal girls that they were loud and obnoxious dropping the "f" word quite liberally. The poor tour bus guide could hardly be heard over the Pitt girls. And, the parents were in the bus and didn't even think of reprimanding them. TOTALLY different kind of girls. As far as the games went, you were right. Pretty good play by both sets of girls, but too many players. Also, the parents are LOUD. This could get interesting.:thud:

    Ray

Ray is mild mannered and yea Pitt is a loud supportive group. Have not been around them enough to hear all the stuff. They did bring rattles, noise makers, etc. when one of the younger Blues teams played them a year or two ago. Hopefully it will work out as there is some great talent on those two teams. Sure Ray will figure it out. We just want the NC teams to continue to get better and to win the ASA National in the next couple years. The Cardinals finished 21 spots better this year than last I believe and the Blues finished 15 spots better so we are chasing them down. Just need a few more teams from NC to qualify. It is difficult when only the ASA States provided a berth and only after we put pressure on the National ASA office. Thanks to Tony Laws for all his help. We will continue to travel where we need to qualify for Nationals.
