    Hey Touch'em...welcome aboard

    You found the right place!
Ranked in my book right up there with the HSBBaseballWeb site.
Tons of good info here posted by some very "baseball savy" people!
Let me warn you tho...you might just get addicted to it!

BTW Braves...let's add Kicker9 to the "Down East Crowd" as his son is top-rated in everyway( even tho he is moving on to the next level)!

I agree BB9er. The problem with Kicker9 is that he continues to forget his priorities...he thinks his treatment for his patients is more important than TBR....~shaking head~I need to remind him, again

South Meck High School has a pretty decent 06 class this year:

    Chase Austin - 06
    Matt Andress - 06
    Matt Layman - 06
    Reid Rollison - 06
    Brad Marren - 06
    TJ Freeman - 06
    Ryan Morris - 06
    Wes Skidmore - 06

This should be a fun team to watch with some solid pitching and pretty good sticks through out the line up. :woot:

Wes Skidmore, an '06 catcher for Charlotte Catholic who plays his summer/fall ball with On Deck has transfered to South Meck and will provide a solid catcher for Hal's squad

The Knights have 11 or 12 of their '06 class returning but a couple of the younger players that you will need to keep and eye on are:

    Graham Fronk '07 - OF

    Adam Hill '08 - SS, 2B

    Eddie Mullins '08 - OF

I know East Meck lost a lot of seniors, who do they have that will make an impact in 2006? Also, Providence and Butler return a lot of starters. Anyone have any input on the other SW4A teams including the new additions of Indy and Weddington.

    East Meck

East Meck lost 7 senior starters as well as an 8th senior that was a starting pitcher. The key returning player will be Justin Schumer. Justin had a breakout Junior season, hitting .400+ with 5 HRs. Coach Greeson will probably need him to pitch more as a senior, the key will be filling in for him at SS when he's on the mound. Matt Sheehan '07 was a utility player last year, playing DH, 1B or 2B depending on the pitcher. He should have a strong Junior season, playing somewhere in the IF. One player that could really help if he's able to play is Brian ODell. Brian was hurt as a Junior after winning several games his Soph. season. If he can return he'll provide a solid pitcher and everyday player. After these three, it's very unproven. Griffin Lafone-1B, Brandon Swiderski- C, Chris White- 2B and Shane Ludwick P-IF return as seniors. Coach Greeson and Koppe will make them competitive I'm certain, they just have a lot of holes to fill.
