Why is Puerto Rico baseball team not in Southeast Regional tournament?

    Any of you know why? They usually bring pretty good teams into Southeast Regional tourney. In fact, one of the best AL baseball team I have seen was PR back in early 90's. They won the Southeast tourney at Cherryville, NC and went to AL World Series and lost to Mayo, MD team(which only lost 6 games whole year...like 65-6).

    I think they are in the Latin American Regiom with Mexico. Don't know this for sure.

    I heard they did not field a team this year.
