MAY THIS THREAD REST IN PEACE

I will let this thread rest in peace!
Just as in any family, there is a problem, hurry, sweep it under the rug before anyone finds out about it!
Let me just end with a few notes of interest!
    Think before you act!
Remember when you speak out loud, others can hear you!
When you are a part of wrong doing toward another person, you are part of the problem.
IT IS OK to stand up for what you believe in.
It is OK to go against the grain.
You don't have to follow, you can be a leader.
You as a human being have the right to make up your own mind.
Example: When all but 3 members of a team are invited to a bday party, the 3that were not invited will have hurt feelings.
Example: When you join in on making fun of that girl on the other team, you are saying that is ok to make fun of someone.
Example: When a coach treats one of the players in an unfair way, it is ok to step up and say I don't think that is fair.
Example:A player changes teams for whatever reason, it is OK to still like that player. You never know what goes on behind closed doors.
Just for the FUN OF IT how about this:
How about we ALL think about how we treat others.
TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM TREAT YOU!!!! If even 50% of the members of the family used this rule of thumb then we would be 50% better off!
Not preaching just a good solid suggestion!
I would not TRADE ANYTHING FOR MY SOFTBALL YEARS OR MEMORIES, GOOD AND BAD!!
For all that got mad about this thread, maybe you should try to think who you have hurt, lied to, lied about, talked about behind their back or stabbed in the back or walked over top of to get what you wanted in life!
Because as it says in someone's posts The person you pee off today maybe the person you rely on later!
Careful what bridge you burn, you may need that bridge later to get where you need to go!

    agree buddy

iluvfastpitch, if i came into your house and called your family disfunctional, would you be upset???? Sure, i've got some brothers who are a little off center, but so does every family!! careful what ya type, its so easy to express things here that you wouldn't think of saying in public, and yeap, ya made some people mad, but tomorrow we'll be talking about the good things in life, like softball, safety, family . . . . . . lol:satana:

check your pm's, this needs to be over now!

oh yeah, one more thing, your last post is definately a case of preaching!!!

    Preachy or Peachy?

I am peachy with the way i conduct myself, the way our team and our parents conduct themselves and the way they treat each other.

Anything less than 100% supportive is called upon to be changed or we will have to change it for you.

Preachy would be folks who think they aren't the problem, and that in itself is a major concern.

Sounds corny, but the "golden rule" is pretty appropriate here. I don't remember it saying "do unto others before they can do unto you....." but maybe, just maybe, it was re-written and nobody told us..... :imagestor
