There have been discussions about the use of wooden bats lately, and I thought it would be interesting to dedicate a thread of its own for the topic and have others give their comment.

To start with, does every know that the Jack Sink’s Spring tournament in
Charlotte this year is going to be played with wood? I think this is great, and it should offer-up some good baseball.

I thought that the "rules" allowed high schools to play with wooden bats. It is up to the coach whether they do or not.

I had not heard that. should fun.

Funny thing about wood bat tournaments, all the players look forward to it and when it's over the only guy who really had any fun was the pitcher.

Agree...the pitchers are already smiling from ear to ear....if they do it as a wood bat tourney that will be great. :ylsuper:
