    seems like a lot of sunshine patriots here
    win or lose post the scores
    what lessons are we teaching when we only post the wins?
    losses are also a part of the game (softball and life)
    promote the good and hide the bad? not in my house

    fence....................great reminder for all of us who are involved and enjoy this great game. NOTE: Our 14u squad lost 3 games today but are excited about returning tommorrow for an elimination game in the Mountain Shootout tournament in Enka! Lessons learned can be daily as you elegantly expressed..................thanks and contiune to keep your area softball community reports coming! You and many others are making TBR's Softball Forum a premier site for" old and new blood"softball Fans with your knowledge and experiences on what it takes to be sucessful in life and softball.     I hear what you are saying Fence, I have made this same comment on the ballfields to some of the ones who have been writing on this forum. I understand being down after a loss but the message that we send when we write about the wins is that we are boasting instead of reporting if we choose not to report the losses as well.

    CFBALL, I missed seeing you over at the carwash...we did real well but we were exhausted since most of our players were either playing ball on saturday due to rainouts or attending the proms and had to leave early. I had hoped to come by the fields but it was after 8pm before I got home...

    EnkaJet, no problem and know the kids had fun! We play today at 1245pm if the rain holds off! We all had a great time in Enka and look forward to seeing our mountain softball fans real soon.

    Nice to meet you both and as others may say.........."nice to put a face with the names of people" from across the regions of NC at any level of Play from the TBRs Softball Community! Enjoyed talking ball, sharing information and good ole networking with each other....darn Just hate we couldn't talk more................ but next time! :) Our organization enjoyed the tournament, the area and the nice people involved with the USFA Mountain Shootout.

    Good luck also to your respective hs teams and contiune the great reports from WNC SOFTBALL over the next fews weeks!
