With the high school season a few months or so away and dozens of great fall college showcases gone by, the question is, what are you going to do next to be seen by college coaches? If you are an individual looking for more exposure then this is your next great chance.

The Southern Star All-Star Showcases are for individuals who want to play softball in college and not have to wait to be seen on their team or those who are trying to do all they can to be seen. This is your chance. For the past 6 years the Southern Star has been a missing link for a lot of players in the recruiting process.

The January event will be held on the afternoon on January 21 and the morning of January 22, 2012 on the campus of Georgia Southern University in Stateboro, GA. Any player of high school age, freshman to senior is eligible to participate. This has been a gold mine for seniors looking for those last scholarship opportunities. For younger players this event has been the starting point on their road to a successful recruiting experience. Don't lend your future to fate!

If you play winter sports, you can request to be on a "Sunday Only" team and you do not have to miss this opportunity because of basketball.

As in years past, Georgia Southern Softball will hold its annual winter clinic the morning of January 21st for those who may be interested. Coach Annie Smith has her Lady Eagles poised to make a run at the SoCon championship this year, so this is your chance to learn like the Eagles. For more information on the GSU camp, go to the Georgia Southern Softball web site.
