WNC SOFTBALL GAME RESULTS

    I see where EnkaMom12 posted the schedule but there is one clarification that I need to make. Enka plays Owen at approximate start time of 5:30 depending upon when Pisgah and Owen game finishes. Enka's second baseman did not hit yesterday but hopes to hit in the Owen game on wednesday. She had not practiced against live pitching since her layoff and Coach Miller held her out until she has had time to do so. She went back to the orthopedic surgeon for a followup yesterday and was given an all clear. He does want her to finish up one more month of rehab just to strengthen the shoulder further. I am in total support of that. Sure wish we had started the rehab last fall instead.

    MAC (3A) Enka 10 - 2 over (2A) Owen

    second game of a doubleheader after the Pisgah/Owen matchup.

    I will let Pisgah10 report on that score.

    Enka is 14-0 on the season
    10-0 in the conference

    Winning Pitcher - Brittany Underwood 6 k's 2 BB

    Batting stats ??? (I got busy talking to old friends and did not check the book)

    Both teams played well. The weather was great and the fans got to see three great teams play in the same night.

    I am not sure of the details in the Owen - Enka game. I am sure EnkaJet04 will update us later.

    Pisgah moves to 13 - 0 overall 7 - 0 conf. :applause:

    It is a little further home for me. It was good to see so many people that we have spent time running from softball field to softball and state to state with over the years.

    thanks for the Scores guys..................while the TBR reunion was going on, did you guys invite any other Softballer into the Group?

    sorry but i have no scores to report tonite but this round-robin format could really catch on with some thought dont you think?

    It could as long as one team is out of conference. Enka was the wildcard in this as their game was second and only included in overall record. I want to go on record as saying that Pisah looks every bit as good as the headlines they have been receiving. Its growing CFBall, people are asking about TBR.

    Not much further, but a little ways. Yes, there were a lot of old acquaintances there as well as current. Fence was there as well as the rabbit.
