    Enka 16 - 2 over Asheville High

    I guess the question would be who didn't get a hit in this game for Enka. The bench played a major role in this game today. I want to congratulate Emily Byerly who came in and came up with two solid line drive hits. I got to watch her older sister hit like that and now I have seen the youngest one as well. Oh Bill you have got to be proud.

    Sarah Soesbee moved up from the JV's to pitch this game and she was excellent. Both runs scored against her were unearned.

    FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE BEEN WONDERING WHEN THE DD WILL GET TO HIT AGAIN. She finally came in to hit in the last inning with bases loaded. go figure huh? hit a single to left to score two runs.

    Good defense and timely hitting for the whole team. Lauren West had some good hits as well as Amber Banks.

    WP - Haven Payne

    Wilson - Grand Slam and triple
    Gouge - 2 triples
    Underwood - triple
    Payne - triple

    Those were the big hits. There were a lot of other hits but once again I was busy talking. Sorry.

    Pisgah moves to 14 - 0 overall 8 - 0 Conf.

    Pisgah played Avery in a double header today.

    Game 1

    Pisgah 20, Avery 0

    WP - Brittany Underwood 6 k's

    Game was called in 3 innings

    Game 2

    Pisgah 15, Avery 0

    WP - Katerine Gouge

    Game was called in 4 innings.

    There was way to much offense to list all. The big one for me was Brittany hit one over at Pisgah. I have only seen 2 hit that far in the last 4 years. The other one belongs to Sarah Burnette.

    Pisgah moves to 16 - 0 overall 10 - 0 conf.
