    Thanks, CFBall...We are working hard. It's hard to fill the shoes of last year's senior class, but the ladies are stepping up to the challenge. We have 5 sophomores and 1 freshman on the varsity and 11 freshman and only 2 sophomores on the JV. Even though our teams are young, we feel good about their work ethic and love their desire to play ball. Also the leadership of this years junior and senior class along with their experience might make us a surprise for some teams this year. I know a lot of people are counting us out this year but we are planning to keep the West Stanly fastpitch tradition alive. :laugh1:

    My DGD is playing at Lenoir Rhyne Sat. Do they play Sunday in Rock Hill? Tuesday she plays at BAC.

    they do play Sunday in Rock Hill but those games have no game times listed yet(researching)but i cant go due to softball practice. Saturday is our only day for us and we want to see NC State play a couple of times too!
    BAC game on Tuesday looks good now but i never know these days?

    Jessica Reid was the winning pitcher for South Caldwell She pitched real well and the defense played very tough behind her

    just couldnt remember the name(s) and i confuse easily. Dont you guys have another varsity pitcher too, weinerberger(spelling stinks too) or am i now in that confused state?? Great job Jessica and SCaldwell, good luck in the upcoming season.

    Arent the Spartans' hosting a tournament again this year during the spring break(hs)?
