Rosman's(Lynchburg College) Amy Glenn had successful UCL surgery Tues. by Dr. Andrews in Birmingham.
Prognosis is good for resuming pitching next summer
Says elbow was worn out, UCL was frayed and torn, but will come back stronger.
Ladies, mechanics are so important, a small hitch in your delivery may not seem like much, but after 1000's of pitches it will take it's toll. Just ask Amy. About 20 months lost. She will guarantee you that her mechanics will be perfect when she comes back
If your arm hurts, there is a reason. Figure it out before throwing again. Today's workout or game is not as important as next years, or the year after that

Amy, so glad to see you had the surgery and that it went well for you. I'm sure without a doubt that you will be stronger than ever and I look forward to seeing you pitch again real soon. I have also learned the importance of proper mechanics and so has a special little girl of mine. ;) Wishing you a speedy recovery girlfriend !!!!!!!

I understand they released the all-conference, all WNC teams (lst and 2d) just recently and was published, could you post the names and schools of the ones who received this honor? I think this board would love to see it as well! Thanks for your input on the importance of the proper mechanics of Pitching that you have grown to see!;)
