    I know this is under the wrong heading, but does anyone know if its true Novis was let go ? If so Yow is cleaning house, do you think she will spend the money to bring in a big name?

    NAVAS has not been fired. Funny the way rumors start. You don't even know how to spell her name.

    decision took a while

    since end of (another non-NCAA regional) season on May 10th. About 40 days.

    Well, I think it is about time they shook things up, after 18 years of never making it to the NCAA playoffs, they have some awesome players and never won an ACC Championship. My daughter went to visit and they were not interested in her movement pitches, just wanted to see if could locate inside or out. Understand they have some girls from UNC in there to help coach this year, look for an interesting year next year! Move in the right direction!

    Not too sure where you did your research, but the program has been around for 9 years, therefore your statement of never making it to the NCAA playoffs in 18 years makes absolutely no sense. And on top of that, NC State softball has in fact made it to regionals in years past. You somehow must have also missed that there is an ACC Championship there, 2006. Same year Coach Navas won ACC Coach of the year. No idea where your information came from. Thank you for knowing your stuff and posting your thoughts. Try again.
