Worry too much about scholarships

    If these kids and parents would worry more about grades and being successful in life. Most these kids won't make the pros anyway. They better do well in school or else they will come out with worthless degrees. Personally, I don't care if my kid gets a scholarship because his grades may drop and may not get into med school. As long as the memories are enjoyable and they are having fun. lets face it some kids get put on a pedistal and others don't. Let's see which kids are the successful ones in the end. My money is on the kids with grades and meaningful degrees.

    How did Region 2 look this week in Charlotte, any kids standout?

    Wes Sowers played good at third and hit well
    Kelly boy hit okay pitched well
    Rookie Davis hit the ball hard a few times Pitched well
    All the Hoggard guys played well
    Cody Davis and Kevin Wise played well
    Jonathan Taylor hit the ball hard, no pass balls
    Brad Evans played well
    Zach Mozingo pitched well

    may have missed more kids just can't remember anymore. The coaches were fair playing kids and appreciate their time they spent with the kids.

    Who done the majority of the catching with 3 catchers there?

    Dalton Knight he blocked well caught majority he was the only one back from last year. 1 pass ball. Threw out a guy at first.

    Brian Stafford pitched well the second time

    I don't know what the rest of the kids did

    your exactly right keep the grades kids, thats what will prepare you for life. Baseball gives you dicipline so you can handle adversity in life.

    Vaughn kid can play some centerfield.
