    Website...

Here is the website that will put you in touch with boxscores, etc of the tournament. However, I would rather hear firsthand from the participants on what is going on. In my opinioin it is much more interesting hearing what's happening from the field, instead of just reading boxscores.... so if anyone is down there with a computer and can post, please keep us updated!! Want to know all the scoop on the rains, field conditions, etc. :xyzthumbs

I got this e-mail report of the action at East Cobb this week. I'll paste in the relative portions.

As I get updates, I'll post them on the board.

I can't stand those Dulin Dodgers in the summer. I don't have a problem with them in the fall but in the summer they are stuff. They probably had some pitchers that were drafted in the first few rounds as they had 2 last year. If you have 2 guys drafted in the first 3 rounds on the hill for you you will be very tuff to beat. I wish you had some details. Way to go O's. One thing that they know is that they are not in the shadow of last years team but making their own tradition.

Robby Bray: what is it with this kid. When I faced he wasn't going to throw it by me, but the fastball is sneaky when mixed with that big 12-6 curve and diving into rights change. It looked like he tried to throw a cutter or a slider as well but he doesn't need it. The kid is dirty and thats not sandbaggin. I wish I could see this kid pitch more in the future. Take care of that ARM!!! The Megastars are a crappy get down and dirty team that won't back down from a fight. The loved to play the game. You might have better players on paper but they could take 2 from you in a blink of the eye. I loved playing them because you always knew what you were going to get. Good luck to them in the tourny.

Congratulations to the Charlotte teams and good luck in the tourny. All of us are back home cheering for you.

That's an apt description of Robby ... he's an "in-your-face" pure competitor. Great showing for the young man.

This isn't the Dulin's Dodgers you are thinking of. This is the younger version of the team. The Dulin's Dodgers team that was down in Jupiter in the fall (with all of their signee's and possibly a few draftees) will be playing next week at East Cobb. That's not saying that the current DD team down at East Cobb won't have a few drafted next year .... and they are always tough.

WWBA has the 18U team ranked 7th in the country right now ....

If you want to catch a top game, here are the current rankings for the 17U's

    1. Nor Cal (CA)
    2. ABD (CA)
    3. East Cobb Braves (GA)
    4. Orlando Scorpions (FL)
    5. Houston Heat (TX)
    6. Top Tier (IL)
    7. All Star Baseball Academy (PA)
    8. Kyle Chapman (TX)
    9. Team Ontario (CAN)
    10. Savannah Chain (GA)

Don't have the particulars on the game. When I find out about the 3:30 game today I'll try to have more information.
