    Impact Baseball wins first game vs PG NE Red 4-2!
    Adam Warren (05 from New Bern) started on mound and went 5
    strong innings! Travis High(04 Wesleyan) came in the 6th and 7th to record the win. Impact fell behind 2-0 in the first inning and never gave up. They scored 2 runs in the 6th and 2 more in the 7th. Great first game win! Congrats!

    Next up Powerhouse FL.

    Impact Baseball played their second game vs Powerhouse, FL to a 1-1 tie. No extra innings at the WWBA.
    Ryan Basham (04 East Forsyth) started on the mound for Impact and pitched six strong innings. He had 9k's 3h 3bb's 1r.
    Powerhouse scored their only run in the 1st inning.
    Zach Phillips (04 Lee Senior) pitched the final inning.

    Good job Impact!

    On Deck beat the Dulin Dodgers ( a team they lost to earlier in the summer) 8-3. TJ Worrell came through with a complete game.

    On-Deck lost to Baseball America 7-1. The O's play twice tomorrow morning. Every team in their bracket now has a loss so they are in a good position!

    NC kid in Fla.

    There is another NC kid in Fla. playing not mentioned before. Garrett Bullock LH junior pitcher from JH Rose in Greenville is pitching for the East Cobb Astros. He pitched aginst them last weekend at East Cobb for the NC Baseball Academy and they invited him to Fla. He throw one inning on Friday , faced four batters, gave up 1 hit and K'ed the other 3.

    Mitch Atkins (04 NE Guilford) gets the 5 inning win!

    South Texas Sliders!
    Lennie Barwick (04 West Craven) started on the mound.
    Philip Townsend (05 Cardinal Gibbons) pitched the final 4 innings to get the win!

    NC Redsox won their 2nd game 1-0 vs Florida Pokers!
    Wesley Cogdill (04 Wilkes Central) got the win!
    Matt Payne (04 Alexander Central) pitched the final 2 innings to get the save!

    On-Deck won both their games today by the combined scores of 17-0 with great efforts from Ben Buchanan and Morgan Tyson. Because Dulin and Baseball America tied in their game today, On Deck advances to the next round and sends Baseball America and Dulin home. They are playing right now. I will try to have an update when it is done! Awesome effort considering both Baseball America and Dulin were considered two of the top teams coming into the tournament!
