Hmmmmmm, seems like an awful lot of runs for wood bat. Where's the pitching? Still trying to figure out myself why HS age kids want to play wood bat except for the novelty. I have spoken to 3 college coaches (from different colleges) in the last year and they tell me even their players can't hit with one, LOL.

with two losses, it will be extremely difficult for On Deck to advance from their pool.

    Impact Baseball 10
    Crusaders 4

Impact is leading their pool with an important game at 4:00 with Fla. Powerhouse

    Bama Bombers 0

the o's came out swinging today and looked like totally different team then they did the previous 2 games. they finish 2-2 and will not advance, but they finished up on a very positive note vs. a team that was pretty good according to previous games

heres a interesting fact... after looking at some stuff i came across that the 2 teams representing NC, the O's and Impact, were first and second in runs scored in the tournament. On Deck led all teams with 32 runs scored and Impact baseball came in second with 31 in 4 games.

some players that produced down in ft. myers for the O's:

Reid Rollision - hit the ball extremely well and had hit with power with the wooden bats also made some good defensive plays at 3rd.

Chase Austin - played a flawless SS, made all the plays, hit the ball well,

Kurt Fulginiti - had abunch of rbi's and also played a great 3B as him and rollison split time

Jared Bard - hit the ball well in the 3 hole also and pitched well vs. the GA knights, came out when it was 2-2.

Max Fulginiti - put the ball in play and got on base alot, made a couple good plays in RF

O's pitching staff - did very well, gave up the fewest runs in the pool of 6 teams
