What do you think about a high school coach that throws fits in the dugout during a game. In a previous game this past week this coach would not even go out to coach third when the team was at bat, this coach stormed off the field after the game and did not even talk to the team and this is what our young women have to look at to set a example for them. I have been around fastpitch for over 10 years and have never seen anyone like this.

most times, reporting this to the school AD will correct this, and if that doesn't work, next step is the Principle, and the last step is the District AD...if all else fails, video tape it and sent it on to the state.....

I saw this a few years ago, and the majority of parents made a personal visit to the school AD and Principle and the coach was removed...strength in numbers you know...

HS ball should be a memorable experience, but in a good way....

I agree with Cheese, strength in numbers would be a wise choice, now I have been known to go off in the dugout when players are not performing as expected or up to their capabilities, however not assuming your duties as coach such as the coaches box, or addressing your team after the game is unprofessional and not productive for anyone. Some people are not equipped to coach just as not all players are going to play in college.

The first question I have, what would create such a reaction from a coach to act in such a matter? It is embarrassing for the girls and for the institution they are representing. If I was the AD, forget the 3 strike policy, the coach would be fired immediately.
